Captain Stacey Witherow has been fishing the middle and lower Chesapeake for most of his life. He enjoys spending time with folks who share his enthusiasm and passion for sportfishing. His experience and knowledge of the Bay's many "hot spots" help to find some of the nicest fish the Chesapeake has to offer.

About the Boat
The MARY ELLEN is a Custom 41’ Glouster made in Glouster, Virginia. The powerful Cummins diesel engine keeps the MARY ELLEN at a comfortable cruising speed for a fast and reliable ride to the fishing grounds. The MARY ELLEN is fully equipped with a bathroom, plenty of comfortable seating, A large cooler for drinks and food, plus an extremely large container for your fish, Heated cabin and fully enclosed canopy keeps you in the action and out of the sun.
We supply the latest in top quality tackle, kept in like new condition year round. Most of the lures we use are custom and hand-crafted locally. From heavyweight stand-up rods for the trophy rockfish to the small spinning combos for croaker and spot, we have everything you need to land the fish of a lifetime. If you would prefer, you certainly can bring along your own equipment to use on your trip. So dig out that old fishing rod that you got for Christmas, and let’s see what we can catch with it!

electronic navigation equipment, GPS, Sonar, and Radar. Also, VHF and CB radios, and Stereo AM/FM CD player with XM Satellite Radio sound system. For safety we are in full compliance with the U.S. Coast Guards rules and regulations regarding safety equipment. On board you will find Life Jackets for everyone on board, First Aid Equipment, Life ring, Safety Lighting, and Fire Extinguishers. Additionally, our crew is trained in First Aid and CPR.
